House Hunting & Children
Q. Should I bring my children with me when I go house hunting?
A. House hunting can be stressful, so it may be best to leave your children with a friend or family member. A child's hort attention span may leave them feeling overwhelmed toward the end of the shopping session. This also distracts you from your goal.
Older children, however, might be able to contribute to the search. Seek their inpt about such things as floor plan, decor and room design. Valuing their opinion about yhour new home may help them make a smoot transition to the new area.
Once you have selected a house, then you can bring along the little onew to show them the place that will soon be their new home.
